The core of our business is providing our customers with efficient drilling and blasting services to deliver optimised product fragmentation so that there is the minimal downstream cost of moving material.

Monitoring and Analysis

We use drones in our blasting services, and it has a range of benefits:

• It improves operational safety, as there is no need to deploy personnel to the active part of the mine to obtain specific data.
• Quality results are enhanced since the sensors fitted in the drones provide exact, high-quality data and images from angles which are not accessible from the ground.
• Improved productivity by reducing the time and personnel required to collect data and images.
• The images obtained are optimal for analysis of the fragmentation collected in the different blasting areas, without the need for scale references.
• We achieve accurate results quickly and without the need to deploy personnel to the bench.
• The initial data collected by drones can help plan and optimise blasts – ensuring that the blast holes are correctly positioned for optimal blast results.
• Discrepancies between a blast hole’s actual position and its position as indicated by survey data, blast timing can be adjusted to account for this factor.
